The exhibition gives life to the book No Words Poster, a poster collection selected by Armando Milani, president of the Italian section of the Alliance Graphique Internationale and renown character from the world of visual communication. This project shows that posters with no text transcend language barriers. They are able to communicate archetypal messages with ease. The exhibition will also host a poster selection from Armando Milani’s personal collection.

Posterheroes 6 – Rights in love

Posterheroes is an international social communication contest promoted by the cultural non-profit PLUG in partnership with Favini.

The festival will host an exhibition of 40 posters – in 50x70cm format – selected by an international jury for the sixth edition of the competition, “Rights in love”.

The 2016’s edition of the contest is dedicated to the theme of rights of the couple, regardless of gender, orientation, race or religion. It opens a debate of what are the boundaries of the right to love.

Graphics for informed citizens

The exposure recalls the experience of Massimo Dolcini as a forerunner of what is considered “graphics of public utility”, at service of the citizens. It presents Dolcini in his multiple faces: graphic designer, photographer, illustrator, ceramist, entrepreneur, teacher, restaurateur, cultural worker, manager, passionate artist and civil man.

The exhibition is curated by Mario Piazza in collaboration with the Association Massimo Dolcini.
The posters of the exhibition are exposed by courtesy of Luigi Panzieri and are part of the collection at the Institute ITC Bramante in Pesaro

The exhibition presents, through 99 posters, the extraordinary Italian illustration scene. It discloses the creative landscape, rich with talent, established professionals and promising young artists, through posters collected by Associazione Illustri from 2013 to 2016 in its own exhibitions and events.

It includes posters by: Shout, Ale Giorgini, Francesco Poroli, Riccardo Guasco, Mauro Gatti, Olimpia Zagnoli, Emiliano Ponzi, Jacopo Rosati, Bomboland, Gianluca Folì, Sarah Mazzetti, Marina Marcolin, Chiara Dattola, Philip Giordano, Gloria Pizzilli, Simone Massoni, Marco Goran Romano, No Curves, Johnny Cobalto, Elisa Macellari, Elisa Talentino, Hikimi, Ilaria Fallosi and many more.

The photo exhibition is dedicated to Framed, an animated stop motion short movie. A noir satire that tells the limits that modern society poses to individual freedom. In a world someone else modeled for us, are we masters of our destiny? Fk is a plasticine little man, but has a deep soul and a strong critical spirit. In an interrogation room in a police district, Fk claims to be torn from his world, tortured and humiliated. In the police district, Fk came to seek reasons, to find the freedom every living thing needs: to choose their own destiny.

Futureworld

Futureworld is born from the homonymous FN section (federiconovaro.eu) by Pietro Grandi: in monographic posts around a book or magazine – first edition – photographs and informations tell how in California, between the 50s and 80s, people have been imagining and creating the future, before it became our present. The entire collection of Pietro Grandi is very broad and comprehensive, but this is a first taste of which FN is very proud.
