Staying true to oneself, changing and evolving is the hardest of challenges, but when a brand has a strong and defined identity, crossing every era and epoque, this becomes an easy walk. Freeda, a reality born in 2016 is the proof: with a simple coordinated image, but at the same time particular and recognizable, it has succeeded to evolve every day, letting itself be contaminated by everything it meets. During the meeting, the theme of authenticity and transformation will be unveiled through images, videos and moments of Q&A debate.

From the use of traditional camcorders to the latest-generation cameras of the Alpha system, such as the A7R4 and A6600, the various technological solutions now make it possible to obtain different results and leave space for one’s creativity.

A team of experts will illustrate the different shooting modes through the cameras setting menu and will give useful advice to those who want to become professional videomakers.

Within the process of dematerialization imposed by digitalization, the paper has not entirely lost its importance. Replaced whenever online communication is faster and cheaper, paper retains its central role when concepts such as value, solidity, and status have to be conveyed. And new alliances are thereby created: paper needs the support of the Internet to disseminate its features, while online communication uses paper to keep what is otherwise likely to fade in the highly distracting world of the web.

The new app The forms of paper (download from the www.theformsofpaper.com site, online at the end of September) opens the door to the fascination and prowess of paper to an audience rather distant from the analog world – the world of young designers.

How to find the right paper to develop a memorable label? How can a brochure be set up in an unconventional manner? These and many other questions which The forms of paper (guide, swatch book and now app) can now answer fully and simply through examples of projects that have already been implemented.

Activity accompanied by the Fedrigoni team will go through the process of choosing the most suitable paper and processing starting from an actual project and with the integrated help of on-line and on-life tools.

The cultural association PLUG presents the selected posters of the eighth edition of Posterheroes.

Posterheroes: a poster for integration is the international contest organized in collaboration with FAVINI dealing with social commitment, which every year invites the global community to express a message through a poster-manifesto 70×100 cm​. This year it has featured also the kinetic poster category. An international selection panel composed by the most relevant professionals of the international scene of the visual communication field has selected 40 traditional posters and 10 kinetic posters that are going to be displayed during a dedicated exhibition at Graphic Days Torino and in the future events organised by PLUG and FAVINI, aiming at encouraging a positive reflection on the worth of diversity and integration to promote a democratic future.

On October, 4th, at 6.30 p.m., the organization will announce the selected posters and will award the first classified of each category while opening the exhibition.
