Talk 3 – Tactical Urbanism and territorial actions
Tactical urbanism are all those experimental projects with an elevated communicative value that are aimed at modifying public spaces by directly involving local citizens. In recent years, these types of interventions have enhanced the hidden potential of social interaction and have proven to use available resources more efficiently. With the help of this new approach, the standard process of planning and development of urban areas was integrated with bottom-up suggestions coming from the citizens willing to re-appropriate the public spaces. The Graphic Days® team will moderate the speakers’ interventions on the most interesting case studies that exercise this application of visual design in urban planning approach related to scenarios in constant transition.
The talks will be held in English.
