Alessandro Caligaris’ artworks narrate his artistic experiments where he mixes different aesthetics, mediums and techniques such as oil painting, watercolors, digital illustration and wall painting.
Four years after his early departure, this retrospective exhibition will display a big part of Caligaris’s works where the viewer will discover his ability to mix traditional and digital techniques, as well as diverse themes, from theology to dystopian allegories.
This great ambivalence and artistic mix and know how are the foundation for the creation of Blue Boy, Caligaris’ graphic novel that revolves around autism.
Blue Boy is open to both adults and children, thanks to it’s imagery and stylistic choices.
This retrospective exhibition is curated by Claudia De Giorgis/ Associazione Pigmenti.
