Enric Pérez is a 25-year-old graphic designer and art director working for Codea Studio as well as as a freelancer. Settled near Barcelona, he nevertheless prefers to say that he’s based at “his laptop”, meaning that he can work from anywhere, inspired from everywhere. Initially interested in the world of art restoration, his first working experience in the graphic design studio Ex. Estudi turned his professional life around. Enric’s old-school, somewhat analogue approach to studying design – based on must-read books rather than ephemeral trends found online – let him internalize the universal principles of visual culture and translate them into contemporary designs. He is particularly interested in exploring the ways in which design can affect society in a positive way, and vice versa.
