She is a full professor of design at the Iuav University of Venice, she is director of the Iuav degree course in Design (Vicenza) and head of the specialization courses in Circular Design and Packaging Design at the same university.
She has been dealing with Packaging Design since the 90s and has designed guidelines and toolkits currently in use for the design of packaging, in relation, above all, to cellulosic and polymeric materials.
She has collaborated in various research in the field of design together with institutions and companies, paying particular attention to the environmental and social qualities of products and packaging design and strategies for the circular economy.
Among other research, she participated in Sistema Design Italia, Compasso d’Oro in 2001 and twice won the international IIIDAward award for information design. She has published articles, volumes and essays on packaging design and product design including Il buon packaging (2011), Oltre i confini di Leonia (2013), Packaging Design (2017), Nuovi modelli rigenerativi di produzione e consumo (in Remanifacturing Italy 2020), Futuro Continuo (2022).
