Playing with gender and sexual identity
It all started when in the ’80s pink and blue were arbitrary assigned to the two genders.
This is the starting point to a bigger reflexion: “Can human kind evolve if we ever understood the difference between gender identity and sexual identity?”
The Myth of the Missing Half narrates that Zeus was scared of man when they were “complete” couples, and so he divided them, leaving them eternally searching for their twin soul.
In the Myth, it didn’t matter if the couples were made out of people of the same sex or not, cause they were so strong to confront even the Gods.
So, can it be true? Can we human beings evolve by understanding the difference between gender and sexual identity? Can we create a stronger society?
Associazione Culturale Docks Dora has ideated a scavenger’s hunt where everyone can participate, a trip in the dungeons of Docks Dora where you’ll find detective boards that will connect one hint to the other.
The challenge for the artists is to create a multilayer narration that makes up a light and carefree experience for both children and adults.
The eventi is promoted by Associazione Culturale DOCKS TORINO DORA.

Tolerance Project: a travelling poster show
In a world increasingly split by social injustice and radical disparity, the Tolerance Project utilises the unique power of design to remind us of what we all have in common. The Tolerance Project is a traveling poster show initiative, a bold enterprise founded and curated by artist-activist Mirko Ilić. The project is dedicated to reaching people who don’t ordinarily visit galleries or museums.
The show features posters by prominent artists from around the world whose only direction is to illustrate the word “tolerance” in their native language. The Tolerance Project starts a conversation about inclusion and acceptance, which can only begin with a foundation of tolerance.
Since launching in 2017, the Tolerance Project has brought a message of social acceptance to over 400,000 people in over 40 countries.
My Type of Revolution
“My Type of Revolution” will be an exhibition surrounding Raissa’s professional and personal practice. Using her skills as a creative designer, Raissa brings awareness to issues close to her heart and industry, often creating posters as forms of protest. From climate change, to lack of diversity in the creative industry, Raissa spreads reflective messages using bold typographic statements and equally bold design. The exhibition will feature wall to wall prints and posters, with sculptural typography elements. “The more I studied letters, the more I became passionate about them until the point that I wanted to reconstruct them and use them as artworks”. Finding a positive voice within her community is incredibly important for her: “If the community thrives, everyone thrives. I’ve always wanted to find a way to use visuals to take a position in a positive way.”

Casca la Terra?
29 social design projects aimed at new generations, to contrast climate change.
Casca la Terra? gathers the projects realized during the course Communication Design Lab I of the Polytechnic of Turin, focusing on the environmental crisis.
Climate change is here, now. It is no longer a problem that can be discussed in the near future: its consequences are manifested by ever deeper and more evident phenomena. Each project expresses a new ecological thought, to raise awareness about the impact of human activities on the planet: from food consumption to waste of water and natural resources; from pollution in the transport sector to light pollution; from microplastics in cosmetics to plastics in the oceans; from consumerism and fast fashion up to the disorders of the emotional sphere and eco-anxiety.
Through a disruptive and provocative tone of voice, each project offers content, applications, editorial products, and solutions suitable for children but also able to speak to adults, challenging the observer to question and change behavioral patterns. The result is a collection of proposals characterized by a distinctive visual language and deep methodological research: all these projects imagine alternatives and give a tangible design contribution to sustainable development and greater environmental equity.

Neologia
A window dedicated to projects carried out by young Italian designers under 30, innovative, experimental and characterized by stylistic and language contamination. The exhibition is the result of a call conceived by Graphic Days® which has selected 100 works within 4 catagories: Motion Graphic, Poster Design, Editorial Design and GIF.
The project was born in 2021 with the aim of enhancing young Italian talents in the world of visual design today, promoting new language and experiments in visual communication. It continues this year with the second edition: in addition to the physical exhibition of the 100 winning projects, the call also makes it possible to enrich the online dynamic observatory which collects all the most deserving proposals with the aim of promoting the quality and research of the original in the visual world in Italy.
The concept of “Italianness” is not defined by geopolitical borders, but in the sense of belonging. The new Italian expressions, characterized by contamination between different disciplines, between digital and analog, do not arise only from those born in Italy, but also from those who have assimilated Italian culture: the concept to be promoted is therefore not merely linked to citizenship, place of birth or residence, but rather to the bond that is created with a culture and its territory.

NFT EXPERIENCE
People are born creative, they don’t become one – if anything, the more we grow up the less we tend to exercise our creativity. In fact, children, free from preconceptions because having a limited knowledge of the world, are the most open to new experiences and experiments. True experts of lightness, wonder and spontaneity, by relating to their extremely imaginative and fluid mindset adults can rediscover the ability to overcome obstacles and look beyond the appearance of things. Putting the new generations at the center means embarking on a path of growth, turning our gaze to the future and working for a greater social and environmental integrity.
The visual identity of the festival is a graphic and abstract translation of all these themes. Presenting itself as a three-dimensional and generative reinterpretation of the tangram, it exasperates its shapes and melts its colors, playing with the overlapping of textures, so as to convey a message of growth, change and multiplicity of points of view. Born as a digital language, the generative potential of visual art is also explored in analog terms through the use of different techniques – from screen printing to engraving, to the creation of fabrics, starting from the experience of Print Club Torino. The result is an immersive and multisensory physical space populated by a series of unique works, physical and digital, available in the art market as NFT.
