“I do therefore I am,” is the vademecum that guides Laboratorio Zanzara’s inclusion projects, which it will tell during this evening performance. In fact, the nonprofit social cooperative founded in Turin as an integration project for people with mental distress will transform the work tables into a space for storytelling and exchange, but above all where making and printing can take place: anyone can take away a little piece of their production and, therefore, their heart.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Laboratorio Zanzara will also share its multifaceted artistic repertoire by curating a space for workshop activities within the festival with papier-mâché: a poor technique that uses newspaper and newspaper paper and is prepared using mostly paper and rags soaked in a binding material, such as vinyl glue, flour glue or other adhesive.
