Massimo Polello: Breaks you patterns
The wide range of Latin and non-Latin letters – including Indian, African, classical Arabic, and Kufic – offer a fascinating spectrum of patterns and textures. Together with calligrapher Massimo Polello, we’ll transform these shapes into new and captivating compositions, playing on the contrast of empty and full spaces and altering their logic of repetition. Participants will create their own calligraphic composition, breaking these patterns and delving into the relationship between an orderly creative method and a more rebellious one.
