Pandemonio’s fake news

Have you ever fallen into the trap of fake news? Or have you ever thought: let’s see if anyone believes it? Or again: have you ever tried to use fake news to cause a buzz and broadcast a message?

From the alleged treachery of Pausanias in ancient Greece, to the fake death of Napoleon in 1814, to the great Moon hoax published in the New York Times’ Sun, fake news has always been a communication tool used to discredit an enemy, produce misinformation or disinformation, with concrete and tangible effects.

The 2023 edition of Pandemonium was dedicated to this theme: 10 communication agencies worked with students, students and young professionals selected by Print Club Torino on the conception, realization and production of a poster made in two-color screen printing and printed inside the workshop.

The 10 works will be exhibited within the festival and later within the Spazio Portici project, under the arches of Corso San Martino.
