On Thursday, May 16, at 6 pm, at the opening of the exhibition spaces, there will be live performance moments with some guest artists.
Within the exhibition “Making a point with a line,” Vincent de Boer will recreate his Utrecht studio workstation and produce a live calligraphic composition with brushes and inks; the performance will begin with the opening night and continue until the end of the weekend; at the conclusion, the work created will be exhibited within the festival.
At the same time, inspired by the evocative motifs of kilim carpets, a millenary technique of knotting threads, the Nodo – Tufting Torino collective will give life during the opening to a massive textile work that will conclude at the end of the weekend, an installation that breaks the frame of the loom and propagates in the Graphic Days® space.
In addition, Matteo Giuntini will print live in live printing together with Print Club Torino some intaglio engravings from linoleum originals, and in the outdoor space Truly Design will create a mural on one of the walls of the building that will conclude during the opening night, a work characterized by abstract geometric style with deconstructed shapes and bright color combinations.
