Alessandra Barbieri

Alessandra Barbieri is a passionate individual. She initially trains as a musician, studying piano, harmony, and composition, and then as a performer, graduating from the University of Performing Arts – Atelier Philip Radice Physical Theatre in Turin. She continues her training in dance at the Tic Tac Art Center in Brussels and in choreography with the InstavĂ©l company in Porto. In 2018, she began her research on Embodied Music, exploring the correlation between physical movement and sound, the musical body, and the scenic body, teaching Music and Movement at the Flic Circus School in Turin and Music and Performing Arts at the Atelier Philip Radice. Currently based in Ravenna, she continues her training in Orchestra Conducting. Since 2023, she has embarked on a new project called the “Orchestra Project.” Through this endeavor, she aims to share her overwhelming passion for classical music through the language of bodily movement.
