Design Practice
Humble Beings serves as a platform for Sunjin to express and share interests on various topics, from general etiquettes to social issues. The name itself reflects the idea of becoming a better human, a goal Sunjin constantly dedicates herself to.
Her creative process begins with a deep desire to create, often inspired by art and design books, galleries and museums, or daily experiences. Her work is based on the use of flat and minimalist forms, inspired by their intrinsic simplicity, which have the power to evoke a wide range of emotions, from calmness to excitement. Guided by her inclination to blend simplicity with a playful spirit, Sunjin often starts her creative process with a single form, which serves as a seed for inspiration. Throughout the creative process, there is a continuous search for unexpected combinations of graphic elements that can reveal new visual narratives. Through numerous iterations, Sunjin is guided by her aesthetic judgment until she achieves the desired visual execution.
