Artificial Intelligence is measured up to the concept of the unfinished in art. And while it is true that art is often born from an artist’s ‘stumble’, from an intentional incompleteness, from the unexpected, it is equally true that today AI seems to act just like an artist. Is this so? What should we expect in the future? We will discuss this with Ettore Ghinassi and artist Michelangelo Rossino.
IN-FINITO IN-TELLIGENTE IN-CERTO is a creative experiment that works on the unfinished, in art as well as in literature and cinema. It is a project that questions, that explores and continues, that imagines and reconstructs, adding pieces, lines, words. And it does so by combining human and artificial intelligence, different techniques and heads, styles and intuitions, to accomplish the unfinished as we would have always wished.
