Inchiostro Festival is a performative cultural event, an event that hosts for a few days, like an artistic residency, illustrators, calligraphers and art printers creating a real laboratory of excellence, of live creation, open towards an active and always involved public. Its main format is black and white, in its various shades, for works created with each manual technique. Each year the Festival welcomes about 50 of the best artists from the Italian and international illustration, calligraphy and fine art printing scene who try their hand at works made in real time and exhibit their latest creations. During the day, visitors can participate in free activities: exhibitions, presentations and debates, workshops in illustration, screen printing, press printing, woodcut, movable type printing and more. In the evening, the cloister comes alive with artistic performances, graphic-sound experiments and video projections by the artists and other guests.
