Marta Cerdà Alimbau combines functional beauty and emotion, turning each project into effective and original design. Her work explores the boundaries between typography and illustration, disciplines considered as inseparable for her. Since 2008, she developed worldwide collaboration on art direction, design, illustration, and custom typography projects for clients in the artistic, cultural, and advertising fields.
Rewarded by awards such as the Type Directors Club, the Society of Publications Designers and the Art Directors Club, her work has been featured in various design blogs and magazines. Marta speaks at international conferences and is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale). After Type and Image (2021), she recently published Sobrevivir al Diseño (2025), an essay on the role of designers in the age of AI, published by Anagrama.
