Sketchy Love is a carnival parade of dreamlike and nightmarish, but also ironic and irreverent, visions, telling stories of ectoplasmic figures, of bodies morphing into other bodies, of fantastical places. The drawings of Luciano Federighi sketch a humanity in painful search of something. What the object of the search is, we cannot know; we only know that it is unreachable, and therefore we must settle for the next best things: music, literature, and art, which alone can give us solace. The exhibition is accompanied by a musical interlude, with Luciano Federighi on piano and vocals, and Davide Dal Pozzolo on tenor saxophone.
