Exhibition
In this new edition, the focus shifts to the future, explored through the lens of Italian and European entities presenting their practices at Graphic Days®.
Farm Cultural Park, located in Favara in the province of Agrigento, is one of the most influential independent cultural centers in the contemporary cultural world and one of the most lively projects of rethinking and rebirth of dying cities.
It is a community committed to creating, transforming, and reinventing urban places.
The exhibition at the festival shows how cultural transformations in urban places can be achieved through creativity, focusing on today’s challenges and opportunities.
Also on display is the Transition for, the project which aims to overcome the emergency logic often characterizing this sector and proposes itself as a catalyst for social change, a reference point for innovation, social cohesion, and participatory design in the field of integration, in the Porto Empedocle hotspot.
Blurm3not was created by Sheldon Studio for the Internet Festival – Forms of the Future in Pisa, in collaboration with the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the CNR. It is an interactive installation that challenges the public on phenomena triggered by the internet. Smartphones become the lenses through which to reflect on data related to challenges, cyberbullying, and hikikomori. Data that generate other data, those on the perceptions of the participants, are visualized in real-time on two large screens.
Parco Studio began as a graphic design studio, founded in Milan by Loredana Bontempi and Emanuele Bonetti. During the festival, it presented “Designer” a site-specific installation that invites visitors to reflect on their role in the world and society, both professionally and personally.
Other Editions is the editorial project of Lorenzo Servi (aka SerraGlia), an architect and visual designer based in Helsinki. OE conceives, curates, and produces multiple works of art, book series, and publications inspired by the ordinary, the mundane, and the often overlooked aspects of the city. Focusing on integrating visual art with new types of narratives, his work uses art and communication as tools to highlight underrepresented themes and elements.
Studio Airport is an independent graphic design and film production studio that explores the progressive intersection of these two disciplines. The exhibited project, “The Pollinators of Slovenia” investigates the crucial role of pollinating insects and their fragile position in an era of ecological crisis. It serves as a call to awareness about climate change, blending social design and documentary filmmaking.
