Saturday, May 29th 2021 – Sunday, May 30th 2021, from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
2-day workshop on creative coding, generative art and risograph print.
Together with Edwin Jakobs from RNDR, the participants will have an opportunity to focus on exploration and experimentation in both code and in print. The process is about quick idea iteration and execution, the way of working that is deeply ingrained in RNDR studio’s practice.
During the 2 days, Edwin will introduce OPENRNDR, the free and open-source software that was developed by RNDR studio. With the help of the tool, the participants will be able to create generative art projects, that will be eventually printed in risograph at Print Club Torino.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Participants must have a minimum of prior experience in programming.
TARGET GROUP
Creatives and designers that want to experiment with generative art and creative coding, as well as translate their skills to unconventional printing techniques.
NECESSARY MATERIAL
Participants will have to bring a laptop, which can be Windows or macOS. If possible, download the software OPENRNDR in advance.
