Riccardo Guasco, “rik”, is an illustrator and painter born in Alexandria in 1975. His main influences are Cubism and Futurism of Picasso, Depero, Feininger, Malevich. He draws with simple lines and few colors looking for simplicity of form and warmth of color. In love with poster as a useful communication asset for image education, he mixes poetry and irony in illustrations to make the eyes smile. Rik has collaborated with The New Yorker, Eni, TIM, Diesel, Rizzoli, Baldini & Castoldi, the Italian Post Office, Campo Viejo, Giunti, Moleskine, Rapha, Thames & Hudson, DeAgostini, Sole 24 Ore, Emergency, Greenpeace, Rai, L’Espresso and many others.
