Ratatà

Ratatà is the festival of illustration, comics and self-publishing that takes place in Macerata since 2014. During the festival, the city is packed with exhibitions, workshops, meetings and events. The main subjects are illustration, drawings, comics, street art and self-publishing. The organizers – the “Rataters”- participate with major role to European festivals, such as Monstre in Geneva, Tenderete in Valencia, Crack in Rome, Borda in Lucca, Afa in Milan etc, with personal and collective projects. More and more often, we talk about a “Macerata School” in terms of design, publishing, illustration, contemporary comics.
