Patrick Thomas (1965, Liverpool, UK) is a graphic artist, author and educator. He studied a BA(Hons) at Central Saint Martins School of Art and an MA at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1991 he relocated to Barcelona where in 1997 he founded the multidisciplinary art space Studio laVista. In 2008 he established a silkscreen press and since then has exhibited his limited-edition prints—of which he has published in excess of 200 editions—across five continents where many are now held in private and public collections.
Currently he lives and works between Berlin, Barcelona and London. Since October 2013 he is professor of Kommunikationsdesign at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart. He is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) and served on its international executive committee as Secretary and new member Chair between 2012–16.
