Strane Dizioni

Strane Dizioni is an independent company/print house publishing silk-screen printed posters and handmade binded books.

Strane Dizioni’s publications are unique because of their screen printing process on paper: each book’s page has a different basis weight that you can feel through the paper and the color.

Strane Dizioni deals with all the editorial steps, from the manufacturing to the distribution both through italian and foreign cities, specialized art galleries and bookshops.

After its first project Enciclopedia#0, 2008 PaperIdeas award-winning, the company keeps publishing monographes in collaboration with international and italian authors such as Henning Wagenbreth, Jesse Jacobs, Tomi Um, Igor Hofbauer, Nora Krug e nazionali, Andreco, Sarah Mazzetti, Claudia Palmarucci, Davide Bart. Salvemini.

The company prints less than 500 copies each publication and has collected a remarkable amount of prestigious awards like the Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators and two Art Directors Club awards. Some publications have been included in the Guggenheim Foundation’s and the Washington Library of Congress’ collections.
