Giordano Poloni

Born in 1980 and living in Milan, he studies cinematography at Università Cattolica in Brescia, graduating in 2006. During the same year he starts working for production companies as an editor and graphic animator in commercials and videoclips. Fond of comics and illustration since ever, in 2010 he starts a career as an illustrator, working for both editorial and commercial works with customers like The Guardian, TIM, Il Sole 24 Ore, HSBC, Volkswagen, Wired UK, Wired Italia and for book covers for important publishers like Einaudi and Mondadori. His last children’s illustrated book won several prizes and mentions, including the gold medal of New York’s Society of Illustrators and the Award of Excellence of Communication Arts.
