Martina Francone – Malva

Born in Saluzzo in 1996 Martina Francone, in art Malva, is an Italian illustrator, graphic design student and relentless traveler that currently lives in Turin. Characterised by simple strokes, surreal images and a vintage mood, her illustrations usually depict travels and feelings. Her special love for Nordic countries and for nature is reflected in her subjects and in the soft colours she uses. Indeed, in Abbecedario illustrato per i viaggi in solitaria she collects all these themes together in a project that aims to tell, through illustration, her attempt to see the world from a different perspective by travelling alone.
