Riccardo Guasco is an Italian painter and illustrator born in Alessandria in 1975. He loves old posters from the Thirties, Picasso, Depero, Tofano, Russian suprematism, cubism and heroic cycling from the old days. He is in love with the poster as a useful medium for a good visual education. Through the blend of poetry and irony he aims to create images able to make the eyes smile.
His illustration are displayed on advertising campaigns, magazines, books, cruise ships and bicycles. During the years he worked with The New Yorker, Los Angeles Magazine, Eni, Diesel, Longines, Greenpeace, Emergency, Moby, Rapha, Vanity Fair, Rai, Poste Italiane, L’Espresso, Architectural Digest, Selle Royal and many more!
