Persistent designer, Paolo Tassinari deals with visual identities, editorial projects, exhibit design and environmental graphics for cultural institutions and big events. In 1981, together with Pierpaolo Vetta, he started the studio Tassinari/Vetta that he still leads.
Art director for Casabella for over twenty years and author, together with Sergio Polano, of Sussidiario. Grafica e caratteri moderni, Milano 2011, he teached at Trieste University and SPD in Milano, hosting workshops and lectures in Italy, France, Portugal, Australia and Middle East.
Member of AGI – Alliance Graphique Internationale since 2005, he has been awarded with Compasso d’Oro – ADI in 2011 for the identity project for Napoli Teatro Festival Italia and mentioned for Compasso d’Oro 2001.
From 2014 to 2016 he has been Cultural Councilor for the City of Trieste.
