Martina is a visual artist who works mainly with drawing, up to and including painting, collage, ceramic sculpture, artist books and illustrated books.
She won awards like Bologna International Exhibition (2016, 2015 and 2012), the BIB Bratislava Biennial (2012), Korea CJBook Award (2010), Qwerty Award (2010) and the XII Young Artists Biennale from Europe and the Mediterranean. In 2015 she was a “Guest Artist” at the Art Festival of the 798 Art District of Beijing.
Her illustrated picture books are published in Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Chile and China. Her first book “! Estela, grita muy fuerte!” has sold over 100 thousand copies, and since 2012 has directed the Tunneling’s self-editions.
Her ceramic drawings and works are exhibited in contemporary art galleries in Italy, Spain, and Japan, and her limited edition works are sold in Museums bookshops including MAXXI, MACRO and Palaexpo of Rome.
