Anita hates big and ugly cups and loves messing up Arianna’s tidy things.
They met by chance during college years, and now you can find them together all the time. After studying graphic design for five years at Politecnico of Milan and working in Cristina Balbiano d’Aramengo’s bookbinding workshop, they wondered about what they wanted to do “when they grew up”. The answer to this question was also their biggest bet: can we be both designers and craftsmen in the digital millennium?
In 2016, they decided to found Cose A Caso Design studio, which operates mainly in the fields of publishing, graphic design and manual bookbinding, with the aim of integrating digital design with artisanal techniques and skills, such as illustration or bookbinding.
