Elisa is an Italian-Thai illustrator born and raised in Perugia and based in Milan.
After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, she moved to Turin, where she worked as a cultural mediator at the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation. In Milan she collaborates as an assistant at the contemporary art gallery Suzy Shammah.
Since 2012 she is a freelance illustrator for publishers and national and international magazines. Her clients include The New York Times, Women’s Health UK, Cartoon Network, Donna Moderna, Mondadori, Feltrinelli, Einaudi, Giunti, Piemme, Zanichelli, Rubbettino Editor, Il Battello a Vapore, Plansponsor, viction: ary, Nobrow Press, Bandcamp, Karimoku New Standard.
In 2017 she wins the Annual Medal of Image Authors in the publishing section.
In 2018 she published her first graphic novel “Papaya Salad” published by BAO Publishing, which won the Silver Medal of Image Authors in the comics category.
Her work has been exhibited in Italy and abroad.
