Sara graduated in Multimedia Arts at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. After working as artistic director of several advertising agencies for the creation of digital content, she began an independent career as an editorial illustrator. She has collaborated with the Hop! Editors, Newton Compton, Marsz Editrice Sonzogno and Edizioni Denoël; with the magazines Donna Moderna, Pizza and Italian Pasta, Futura – the Corriere della Sera newsletter, Il Sole 24 Ore, VICEItalia Magazine and Stella, supplement to The Sunday Telegraph.
Her work has also appeared on the websites Fubiz, Novum – the world of graphics, Picame, Glamor, Daily Best, Eater and SPIN Magazine, and has been exhibited at La Triennale di Milano.
She loves the sinuous lines, the elegant and refined lines, the essentiality of the graphics.
Her art is characterized by desaturated colors, oriental patterns and scratchy lines. Her female figures, a little bit Art Deco, a bit geishe, are characterized by square noses, almond-shaped eyes, pointed bodies and sinuous hands with very long fingers.
